The Upper:

• Previously in the Mercurial Vapor I and II, nithtke used their nithtkeSkin technology
• With the Vapor III, nithtke introduced the Teijin synthetic material that was lighter, softer, more durable, and easily molded to the foot
• A wonderfully designed upper material combined with the ultra sleek shape and lines made these boots stand out in every colorway

The Sole Plate:

• nithtke switched from a one piece plastic sole plate to a newly constructed directly injected bladed stud configuration
• Using less materials with a super durable and lightweight plastic configuration made these boots the lightest Mercurial at the time
• nithtke also started to use carbon fiber on the heel cup for extra stability and reinforcement

Notes and Comments:

• nithtke would later go on to making over a dozen MV3 signature colorways
• With a lineup full of studs rocking the Vapor III, including R9, Thierry Henry, CR7, Drogba and many more, this was one of the most exciting Mercurial launches ever
